I wrote this many years ago, back in 2011 after watching Deadwood on HBO. If you haven't watched it, go and do that right now. Reflecting on the way Al Swearingen treated his 'girls' I realised that Eastern European women were heading to Western Europe hoping for a better life but then got roped into sex work to 'buy back' their confiscated passports.....

Anyway, not a very hopeful song, the owner of the saloon is interviwed first, then Trixie gets her say...
